At Children's Discovery & Learning Center LLC, our Before and After Care program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for school-aged children aged 5 to 13. Under the guidance of our directors, Crystal and Ramon Augustus, our centers in Slidell, Baton Rouge, and Schriever, Louisiana, offer flexible care options to support busy families.
We provide a structured yet fun space where children can unwind, complete homework, and participate in enriching activities before and after school. Our program is designed to give parents peace of mind while fostering social skills, creativity, and independence in children.
Homework Assistance
Our staff provides dedicated support for homework, ensuring children have a quiet space and guidance to complete assignments. We help them stay on track with schoolwork while fostering independence.
Structured Play and Activities
After a long school day, children need time to relax and play. We offer structured activities like arts and crafts, board games, and group play to encourage creativity, teamwork, and fun.
Safe and Supervised Environment
Our centers are a secure space where children can thrive, with trained staff supervising at all times. We maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios in compliance with Louisiana Department of Education standards, ensuring safety and care.
Flexible Scheduling
We offer care from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to fit your family’s schedule. Whether you need before care, after care, or both, we’re here to help.
